What Moonfrog’s published pages say
| Question | What the developer-controlled documents state |
|---|---|
| Can real money be spent? | Yes. The terms allow purchases of licences to use virtual items. |
| Are chips real currency? | No. The terms say virtual balances are not real-world credit or stored value. |
| Can chips be officially cashed out? | No. The published terms say they cannot be exchanged for money or prizes. |
| Can players sell or transfer chips for profit? | Unauthorised sale, trade or transfer is prohibited. |
| Are successful purchases refundable? | The general position is no; a separate rules page describes a narrow undelivered-chip process. |
The wording above describes the developer’s published product model. It is not a guarantee about an unrelated APK, Telegram group, website or person using a similar name.
Buying virtual chips is not the same as depositing cash
Moonfrog’s terms describe virtual items as a limited licence inside the service. A player may receive chips through gameplay or promotions and may also buy access to virtual items with real money. The resulting balance remains an in-game item.
This distinction matters because a rupee price on a store screen proves only that a purchase can occur. It does not prove that the item can later be redeemed.
Cash-out, chip-buyer and “agent” claims conflict with the published model
Claims such as “convert chips to UPI”, “official withdrawal agent”, “sell your balance” or “guaranteed daily income” are not supported by the Moonfrog terms checked for this article. The rules also prohibit deliberate losses used to transfer chips and unauthorised chip sales.
- A withdrawal screenshot with no verifiable transaction context.
- A WhatsApp profile using the Teen Patti Gold logo.
- A small first payment used to build trust.
- A private UPI ID described as an “official cashier”.
- A modified APK that adds deposit or withdrawal labels.
An unrelated service may operate under different terms and legal obligations. Its behaviour must not be attributed to Moonfrog merely because it uses “Teen Patti Gold” in a page title.
What an in-app “withdraw” label may mean
Some games use bank-like words for movement between internal balances. Read the destination, not just the button label.
| Movement | Likely meaning | Cash-out evidence? |
|---|---|---|
| Game bank → playable wallet | Internal balance movement | No |
| Wallet → table | Entry or stake inside the game | No |
| Permitted gift → another player | In-game transfer, if the rules allow it | No |
| Balance → bank account or UPI | Real-money withdrawal claim | Needs separate product, policy and operator verification |
The refund documents set a strict default and a narrow exception
Moonfrog’s Terms of Service and the Teen Patti Gold cancellation page describe successful purchases as non-refundable. The separate rules page says that if payment is taken but chips are not granted, the user should contact support; if chips cannot be granted, a refund is to be processed.
Those statements should be read together. They do not create a general right to cash out unused chips or reverse a completed purchase because a player changed their mind.
Keep the store receipt, player ID, transaction reference, date, amount, device and app version. Hide OTPs, UPI PINs, card CVVs and full card numbers before sharing a screenshot.

This page does not issue an India-wide legal ruling
The checked product documents describe Teen Patti Gold as an entertainment-only social game without real-money winnings. That is a product statement, not this site’s legal certification.
State laws, platform distribution and product features can change. A third-party APK that adds deposits, prizes or withdrawal may present a materially different product and should not inherit Moonfrog’s published description.
Use spending limits even when chips have no cash value. Optional purchases can still create real financial loss, and buying more chips does not improve the probability of the next deal.
